This fish swims slowly, especially because propulsion is provided by the dorsal and anal fins. The caudal is used as a rudder.
On the other hand, it is very mobile and can easily sneak into different corals or rocks.
Some sharks can stay motionless on the sand (white tips reef sharks, nurse sharks, etc.).
These sharks don't have to swim to bring oxygen to their gills like other sharks (grey, hammerheads tc.)
