This species of nudibranch can be observed day and night.
It contains a cytotoxic substance: jorumycin, which acts as a repellent and is of interest to researchers for its anti-tumor properties.
The tiger shark has slender marks similars to the lines of tigers, hence its name.
When it is juvenile, these marks are round and not vertical. They change when it grows.
