Juveniles live in symbiotic anemones whereas adults live in branched corals.
This damselfish is present in tropical Indo-Pacific or Red Sea. Other damselfishes can look like her but they are not in these areas.
The domino damselfish is a gregarious species that is usually seen in groups of up to 60 individuals. Males are more aggressive than females.
